Husky Ride & Trip to Levi

Our Teachser from the course called "Intercultural Communication" organized a trip to one of the most famous skiing places in Finland,...Welcome to LEVI!

Our journey started early at around 7 in front of the University. It took us almost three hours by bus to travel the 180 km to LEVI. The program plan was to visit a husky farm, and afterwards we had time to choose either go skiing in LEVI or just crashin through the streets of LEVI.

The huskeys were very well grown-up and in a good condition. We had not to fear anything of them,   easily said :)

The owner of the farm explained us a lot about taking care of these animals, and what usefull skills they can have or develop. Later on that day, we had the possibility to go on a small husky ride. It was quite an interesting thing to observe, when the owner just chooses the huskys for the sledge...it seems that every of those huskeys wanted to pull the sledge. And those huskeys, who were not chosen for it, they made a lot of noises and yelled a lot.

Alex & Remig enjoying their trip... very expensive and a bad quality-price-cohesion
After visiting the husky farm, we wanted to go skiing, but

as you can see on the picture, the weather was not very good. So Holger and I decided just to expire the city LEVI.

As you can see, it looks like a typical skivillage with lots of tourism stuff and other things to buy :)

But all in all it was a nice trip and everbody could atleast see something else than always learning and learning :)

Stay tuned for the next blog-update...comin tomorrow :)
