Saksassta and the belgian way of drinking beer

November... after Halloween and some parties, it is now time to start studying again...
With two other exchange-students from germany, I had to do a presentation about the german culture, the german way of living and organizing.

We outlined and maintained our focus on History,General Facts,Festivals and Celebration days(Christmas,Karnival, Oktoberfest), Business Culture, Do and Don't and a small quiz at the end :)

Germany, the Land of ideas, the centrum of political and economical power in Europe, is on the way to rule again, atleast Europe. To start with, here are some general facts about germany :)

And of course, you should not miss, that we are the Nation, which invented the automobile!!!!!

We mentioned a lot of interesting and typically german things in our presentation. it took us around 40 min to present everything :)

But as you almost know a lot about germany, and the german beer, which is definetely the best in the world [ no Ben, and no Chris, I don't accept your protest]

Have you ever tasted beer from Belgia? Well for me it was the first time, when Ben, Chris, Futoshi and I drink it together in the pLab two weeks ago.

It was a very good beer,  not as good as the german, but very awesome. And the interesting fact about it,  you just don't drink it as the german way!

I would describe the Belgian way as the following:

Get some cheese, get some sellerie salt, and then combine everything and drink the beer :). It was a complete new experience to me to drink it like that, but it was a good taste!
